Patrick Kestner, AIA, NCARB 

Patrick is the Principal and Founder of Still Architecture + Design. After earning his degrees from Ball State University in 2000, he spent over 4 years on the Gulf Coast of Florida, focusing on a diverse range of retail, commercial & hospitality project types located in and around the historic Ybor City district of Tampa and has a multi-faceted approach to design and technology. His primary design interest explores the role that regional influences can have on modern architecture. Upon return to Indiana in 2005, he was Senior Project Manager and Architect for One 10 Studio where he helped lead numerous projects that were awarded state and local design awards. Patrick founded Still Architecture + Design in 2020 and in early 2024, Still Architecture opened its new Lowcountry office in Bluffton, South Carolina.

He has served many roles for AIA Indiana, AIA Indianapolis, AIA Ohio Valley, and participated in numerous academic and professional design award juries. In 2021, Patrick was appointed as a Regional Center Hearing Examiner for the City of Indianapolis where he oversaw submittals for proposed construction projects within the mile square of the city. In 2022, he was elected President for the American Institute of Architects – Indianapolis. Patrick has served as an adjunct professor for the College of Architecture and Planning graduate program at Ball State University. While in design, he enjoys the interaction and dialogue with his clients as this outlines the importance that personal relationships play in the design process, method and philosophy. 

Patrick is currently an active AIA Hilton Head Island member and in 2025, was elected to the Rose Hill Plantation Board of Directors.
